Out of the smoker, getting ready for a light brush of EVOO and some more seasoning.


Bet you wonder what this is so moist and juicy?


Out of the oven and the beer bath for a little rest.


Now Duck, where is that extra bun for the samich?


Almost forgot, the moist morcel above was the heart.  Juciest I have ever had.  Gizzard was very similar.

Hokey cats, Giz!  That is one deeeeeelicious, moisty looking bird.  The "spare parts" (which I absolutely love), look awesome as well.  It just so happens that I have 6 extra buns awaiting your arrival and I sent the little mizzez out to get more.  She saw the pics and started frothing at the mouth, so in an effort to save the computer, I had her fetch some more sandwich buns.

What time should I prepare for your arrival???? ;D ;)

OMG all that food looks good.  Giz, why don't you & Mrs. Giz just pick SD & Mrs. SD up and keep heading east.  I have this to contribute & by the time you get here I'll have had time to bake some rolls.....

I am all for the road trip!  In fact, why don't you guys bring a whole caravan....when you get here Giz, we can trade the caravan in for what Elkhart, IN is known for........RVs.  We can get a big one with no problem......They're sitting everywhere around here as sure as heckfire no one is buying these days.  We can even rig one of them up with a Bradley room and then swing to PA and pick up Pens and Nepas (who can bring his Traeger and use it in the Traeger room of the RV).  By the time we get to Deb and Habs, the vehicle will resemble something out of a Cheech and Chong movie with all the smoke rolling out of it!  ;D

Deb, that is some suhhhhhhhweeeeeeeet looking bread you got there!

If you guys think you are going to arrive today make sure you shop for adult beverages before you hit CT.....   The adult beverage section was covered in plastic today when I went shopping.    We have a few but definately not enough to last til tomorrow :D
