Ok I had to try this.
Its not as pretty as the one on here but the taste is really good




I had to tie it with some string to keep it from falling apart.


If i was to do this again which i will i would use regular cut bacon not thick cut like i did here.

Can never have enough bacon!  ;D

Hmmm maybe make up the basket weave and wrap some habs canadian bacon with it? Or would that be going too far? Course we would have to squeese in some buckboard bacon to round it off.  ;D

Thanks Guys

In the middle is an Italian & Pork sausage mix and of coarse more bacon
Smoked it for 4 hours with maple then cooked at 230F until core temp was 165F. Total it took about 5 hrs
I fried some up for breakfast this morning even better than yesterday.

Looks Great Brian. Now that the deep freeze is over I plan on making one of these myself.
