Those are the stainless steel stitches from the mess that he made from getting fixed.

The hard part is going to be figuring out how to keep him from eating more rocks.

We feel your pain... our Bonnie (long nose boxer) I call her my rock dog.  Honest to Pete every moment she is outside we have to watch her like a hawk.

She has one missing tooth now...she likes to try and chew them.
