I have read about Yard and Pool, but what is the cheapest place to get pucks?  And why hasn't anyone made their own (I haven't read anything anyways)?  Thanks everybody!

Most have come to the realization that the effort involved to make them at home is more that what they cost to buy.
Typically you can get them for 33 cents a piece which is roughly $1 an hour.  If you go 4 hours, that is 4 dollars which is the most you spend on smoke.

Making mine today. The longest part was finding the aluminum in my junk pile.

BF,
Are you talking about bubba pucks or wood pucks?  In my earlier post, I was referring to wood pucks.  The Bubba's are a different story as Roadking was referring to.

I was talking about wood pucks really.  I have no problem buying them and $4-10 is pretty cheap for smoking if you ask me.  And I was PUMPED to get back to work today and have a box from Bradley with a hat and pucks!!  Can't wait to get the smoker this week!
