Hey lumpy, one more "awesome" to add...!

...  I'm always on the lookout for a new and improved BBQ sauce, still haven't settled on one to call a regular...  you mentioned that your homemade BBQ sauce with the brisket was the best you ever made, care to share the recipe?

lumpy

I need to dig it up.
Give me a couple of days.

No problem...  can PM it to me if you want, although I'm sure others would also love to try it out too.

Lumpy.... PLEASE, PLEASE... where do you live ??? I would even buy the beer, that spread is awesome. You sure know how to treat your friends. Oh, you could shame many of us. And the next boys weekend ( me included)  is when ???

Sorry for the delay but here is the BBQ sauce that I used and everyone thought was great.
It turns out that it was not my sauce but one from Karen Putman's book called "Championship BBQ secrets for Real Smoked Foods"
I have used a lot of recipes from her book and think that the are all great.

Its called "Kansas City-Style BBQ Sauce"

4 cups ketchup
1 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup soya sauce
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup fancy molasses
2 tbsp dry chili powder
2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper

In a large sauce pan combine ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, 1/2 cup water, soya sauce, molasses, chili powder, mustart, allspice, cayenne and black pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 45 minutes or until sauce is thickened.

Enjoy ;D
