Thanks for sharing Nepas!
Thanks for the pics Rick. Support them all the way.
Not sure if you have seen this, but the black patch says it all.

Aint seen that pic but its true. My son says the Iraqi army is worthless. When there is a firefight they call us because they dont want to fight their brothers.
Looking at that first image again...
I know we have a lot of things in America that they don't...
I'm thinking Sherwin Williams is one of those things.
What a drab looking place.
Better get out the jack, he's got himself a flat tire on that there plane.
God's Speed to Dustin and his crew ona safe and speedy trip home!! Thanks for the pics Nepas

ditto to both
Thanks for the pics Rick. It will be great to get Dustin home again.
My boss's son is the Director of Operations at one of the US Air Bases in Afghanistan. He told his Dad that recently some Congressional staffer was there on a fact finding mission(yeah right). When asked how he enjoyed his tour of the FOB(Forward Operating Base) the staffer responded "Terrible, I saw a dead body". The D.O. said "Well no s__t, did you not know we are at war?".
Can these guys get anymore out of touch?
KyNola
Great pictures Rick, tell Dustin we said thanks. :)

Man I'm all choked up thinking of how much these men (and women too) are putting out there for us. I wish ALL of the jacks in D.C. and elsewhere would trade places with them.
Mike Hedrick turned me onto a group called BBQ For our Troops...I know they do some big events, most recently in Ft. Hood, TX. Maybe one or two of you might think that's a good way to support.
Thanks to you men who are sharing your photos here. I'm gonna go swat my 14 year old son on the butt and let him know how much I love him.
God bless all of them. We just lost 4 soldiers up here plus an female imbedded journalist all in one roadside bombing. I hate to here this sh#t. But we can't change what it is.

I agree. There is nothing about death I can abide by.
We are killing our kids for what? A bunch of people who will never get along? Screw them!!! Let's bring our kids home--NOW!!!!!!!
EDIT: If we are to die then let's die for a real reason. If you think about it we could have taken that entire country out with 2 B2s that were loaded correctly. Ya a Nuke war drop is not pretty but it sure would have saved a lot of our kid's lives, arms, legs & eyes.
Since the first war of mankind (sticks and stones) collateral damage is part of war. I don't like that truth, but I've gotten to where I hate the cost our kids / families are paying.
Nepas,
Those are amazing pics.
Please thank your son for sharing with us a bit of his world while he serves to protect our country.
