Title: My Stuffer Base
Post by: NePaSmoKer on February 05, 2010, 06:48:34 PM
Was tinkering in the garage and came up with this base for my stuffer. The edge has a 1/4 round over, added some strips to the bottom for stability, T-nuts for the screws, sanded and oiled with cutting board oil, slip pad on the bottom and my movement is about 1%

With that base does the stuffer stay in place without being clamped to the counter or do you still have to clamp the board down?

Nice work NePaS. What holds the other tubes or are they just standing there? If you put a couple of hardwood dowels sticking up about half the length of the tubes would they be in your way?

Well done, impressive
I should consider the same but there is only so much room
For now, I think mine will live in the box in the cupboard
