I brought him some small green Naga Jolokias. His son likes hot stuff. I got a couple of links of hot Italian sausage and beef jerky samples in trade. I brought my camera. Here's a couple of shots.
The sausage stuffer looks like it was made in the 1800's.

Of course he has tools of the trade.

We talked peppers. He has a dehydrator. He said to just bring my stuff in and he'll do it. It doesn't work like that at a mega-mart.
That stuffer looks like it was built from parts out of my old car jack.
How come ya couldn't just put that stuffer in your pocket and walk out? ;D

Come to think of it ...... ;D
Arnie, where do you live? Hard to find a butcher like that in the big city.
Same here, the only butcher around me is at Sam's, Kroger, etc...
You're very fortunate Arnie. I haven't had ready access to a real butcher for 15+ years, and I sure miss it.
