And my field trip ended shortly after that. Had to drop a car at the airport for MrsSTC to drive home (she's in Jupiter, FL)
Didn't look like Jupiter in STL. More like the North Pole.

I need to renew our KCBS membership!
(that's all it takes to get in - they give you a day pass, which they unceremoniously shred when you check out)
OMG!
So that is what heaven looks like ;D
Very interesting store. I have one that is about 65 miles away. I may make a day trip out of it and check it out.
OMG indeed!!! That is one amazing store.
Wow!! that is wild, I think there is one about 45 minutes from here.
I read on another forum that they will give you a membership with any professional designation/license - I will have to see if mine works (not that it's remotely food related). If not it might be time to join KCBS
You want the 6-1 tomatoes for your pizza :) I don't see them in that pic but I'm sure they are there
Wow.
I would have chained myself to something...
I just wet my pants :o
Think I have found heaven.
to bad the depot is not open to the people

Any business license will work. I know of a guy on another forum who used his lawncare business license to get a membership. It's definitely worth looking into.
I didn't get a picture, but it would be cool to try..
Gyro 'cones'. Made of Beef & Lamb.

I think they were 10-15 pounds each. Anyone up for a vertical rotisserie mod in their Bradley?
<sigh> Utterly speechless!
Ok, one thought. Next time grab one of those "pigs in a box". We know someone who happens to own a Stumps and there's a big event going on in your parts come June! :D ;)

Now there is an idea...
Those guys were around 55 pounds each. Good old Iowa pigs.

That she does!
I didn't see a card up close, but they have a barcode on it that you scan on the way in. And again when you check out.
I guess she could try going this route and seeing what comes of it..
(we might have to be 'employed' by HDD as unpaid interns) ;)

I do think that if you are a card carrying member of the KCBS you can join.
