Title: Got an extra pork tender loin
Post by: Drac on August 03, 2011, 04:13:57 PM
And no idea what to do with it.  They always come in packs of two and one is enough for Amy and me.

Plan to do up some ribs this weekend and figure why not fill up one of the other shelves with the tender loin.

Thank,
Jim

BTW - not hiding out just spent some time with Uncle Sam :D

Are you speaking of pork loin or pork tenderloins. The tenderloins generally come two to a package.

If they are tenderloins there are a few ideas in this thread; just note that two of the recipes used the loin:

Tenderloins?

I'm thinkin shish kabobs!

Marinade a couple hr, load up skewers with the pork and veggies of your choice, smoke an hr or 2 (along with the ribs) grill till done.

That'll give ya something to snack on wile waiting on the ribs.  ;D

Mojo Pork tenderloins!.  Marinade in a mojo marinade and toss on the upper rack. Simple and full of flavor.

If you do kabobs...I'd place the rack under the rack of ribs and let the drippings flavor the kabobs then finish on the grill.

If you are going to cut them up, bacon wrapped medallions work well also.

Them kabobs look GREAT.

Did you put any smoke to them?
