I pour the broth in the bottom of the tin foil so the cabbage can steam in it.
Just gotta figure a way to harness all the natural gas that will be generated from eating that baby and you can label it "Eco Food", patent it and make a fortune.
OH MY GAAUD!!
That is a thing of beauty!
I am soooooooo gonna do this!
I love cabage!

Lucky for me a cabbage is in my CSA basket on Saturday!
Thanks for reposting this. I had meant to add it to the recipe sites. I loved it the last time I made it, but I believe you changed a few ingredients. If so, how does it compare with the original recipe? Topping with the bacon is a nice added touch.

Hello Habanero Smoker
The ingredients are the same on the bacon stuffed cabbage (maybe a little more bacon)
also did a corned beef stuffed cabbage.
This recipe is very versatile
the ingredients you can use are Unlimited for the stuffing,
sausage, peppers, cheese, corn beef
Italian dressing, just to name a few.
Same as the liquid for steaming, V8 juice, chicken broth, water, or what ever
you desire.
Here is the link to the first post for smoked cabbage.

Thanks for the link, it will help when I move this recipe to the recipe site. It looks like I made some changes when I made mine.
This is freakin AWESOME
Sorta like smoked southern style cabbage
GOING TO DO IT.
What a beautiful sight. Just looking makes me think I need another cholesterol pill.
Had to try one my self after seeing this. I varied the recipe a little. Didnt use no broth for one thing. But every one loved it. Thanks again!
This is going in my smoker next Saturday without fail. OMG!

this is exactly why i bought a smoker - SMOKED CABBAGE?? WOW!! Never in a million years would I have thought of this. Thanks! It's on my list.....
When you make it I suggest you follow Smoke Some's recipe for the first time, then experiment later. Adding the broth helps the cabbage fully cook, and adds additional flavor.
I would never thought of smoking a cabbage but I will have to give that recipe a try. Looks amazing
