Ditto on the Jan's rub ;)
There is a new rub I use that is made by a member of a different forum. There are some members here that may know Phil. It is called Instant Gourmet and it is great on everything! He gave me a free sample and then I was hooked so I just bought a pound of it. Here is the link...

Welcome ot the boards
My personal favorite is Meathead's Memphis Dust Rub (http://www.amazingribs.com/recipes/rubs_pastes_marinades_and_brines/meatheads_memphis_dust.html). You can make it either regular or spicy with the optional ingredients. I have a jar of regular for my wife and another of spicy for me.
I have a home made rub would be happy to share with you pm me
welcome aboard
