. . . . you are a East Texas Redneck and you wake up February 8th and realize you still
have your Christmas Tree up?

No problem. You just turn it into a Valentine Tree.

I would say that you really tied one on! ;D
One year I didn't get mine down until April. It was a real tree and I lived in a third floor apt. By the time I got it outside I don't think there was a single needle on it.
Gonna be a St Paddy's tree soon!
Haven't really had Christmas here for 3 years and first two I didn't put up a tree.
DIL gave me one of those silver trees that I always hated plus it came with no stand.
Took a clay pot and painted it red. Replaced the floor lamp with lights on the tree and
just called it a winter tree.
Sonny, you da man!! ;D A true hero in yer own mind 8)
I told Ann us guys gotta stick together on stuff like this. :o
Opps, time to get. Gotta take the tree down ;D ;D ;D
Just glad to know I'm not alone. ;)
Just leave it up and decorate for every holiday or occasion.Put one them color rotating lights shining on it, drink a bottle of CR and have one of them OH WOW I'M REALLY %@#&*% UP DAYS looking at it :o

True Story.
I use to decorate the outside, the inside, the kids bedroom with lights right after
Thanksgiving. My daughter has told me several times how much she enjoyed
going to sleep with the lights in her room. As the years progressed I did less and
less decorating.
Once when she was 16, her and her mom informed me that some boy was going
to come by and pick her up to get a hamburger in town. At this point we (I) didn't
let her date but did let boys come over to the house for a short time. I wasn't happy
with the idea. It was in May and they left in the day light hours. Daughter called about
two hours later and said they were on their way back. It had just got dark, So .........
I flipped on the outdoor Christmas lights that were still up. Daughter didn't talk to me
for two weeks and I had to sleep on the couch for a week. Plus the lights came down
the next day. Now she thinks it is one of the funniest things I had ever done.
I see homes all the time that leave the lights up all year. I like the valentines day tree.
Next you could do a St. Patrick's day tree. ;D

Happy Happy Happy!!!
Sonny, just get you a Festivus pole. Problem solved! ;D
You ain't right. Git your head looked at, ok?
Mighta just been a minor drop on the linoleum...
But, then again, coulda been a Sunday morning church ride all-out-bump-jump-spring-launch off a F-150 bed right onto the gravel.
Don't help 'em out and mention the tree; make 'em earn their money.
Go straight for the ink blots.
I love Christmas and Trees, you know that you could always change the name and call it a celebration tree. Then decorate it for whatever event/holiday you are celebrating. But I do like the Valentine Tree theme.
Crazy old man.
Personally I take the wife in the RV to visit her relatives in central Florida every year just so that I do not have to decorate and tear down. Worth the drive plus I get to play golf at some different courses.

A friend of mine had a similar situation. He came home and found a senior in high school had given his very cute freshman daughter a ride home.
He asked him "Son do you believe in the here after."
the kid just shrugged his shoulders.
Well son, if you are here after what I think you are here after. You had not better not be here after I get home.
Ps loved the tree. You crack me up.
