Title: Iceman's sauce and rub
Post by: Badger on August 07, 2007, 08:32:46 AM
I got a package in the mail quite a while ago and finally got an opportunity to use this stuff on some back ribs on the weekend, they turned out excellent.
I sprinkled a little of the rub on the meat friday afternoon then wrapped them up until sunday morning, smoked them with hickory for about 3 hrs at 225.

Popped them into the oven at about 195 for an additional 4hrs in a foil pan covered with foil basting in apple juice.

Iceman if you happen to read this you make excellent sauce and I will get a money order headed your way ASAP!

I just got my order this morning.  It arrived so quickly (Alaska -> Switzerland = 8 days) that I don't have any ribs or butt to try it on  :'(   Great service from the Iceman.  Gotta hit the stores real quick like and get a batch going  ::) ::)

His sauce is great on practically everything.  Grill a couple of burgers while you are waiting on a long smoke and try the sauce.

You are right about that Wildcat, I like to use it on my BBQ chicken pizza and to dip my crust in. :)

Didn't know a finder was sacrificed, but it looks like you lost usage of your right index finger for one sentence. ;D :D :P

Thanks for the catch there Tiny and you were "right on point".  I fixed the typo BTW.
