Hey NePa-lookin' good! I have a couple of questions about the reveo: (1) Does it work as advertised?  (2) Is it worth the money? (3) Is that 5 lbs tumbling in it in the picture?  I've been looking at them for a while now, but haven't talked to anbody that has one. Thanks.

1. yes it works very good on everything you put in it, even ground meat.

2. it was $199 when 1st introduced but now you can get em for $149 or even cheaper. Contact Bryan at yard & pool he has em.

3. yes its the 5lbs of meat for the jerky.

Thanks Mike

Pretty simple really. Just your basic soy, worchestire (guess thats how its spelled  ;D) garlic, pepper (white) pinch of cumin, pinch of dry mustard and 2 tblsp JD and a couple drinks  ;D  ;D. If ya want you can add brwn sugar to give it a sweet taste.

Gotta agree with Nepa on the reveo. Best little gadget I've had in a long time. Bryan at yard and pool is THE place to get one. He also sells extra barrels in case you want to increase your out put. Takes rib eyes and chicken to a new level. :P

I did the exact same thing this weekend Mike. I deboned them, removed the skin, threw them into the Reveo with some of the Reveo Honey Mesquite marinade mix, skewered them, then onto the grill. Boy were they good.

Mine are bone-in & skin on. Reveo'ed with Italian dressing, EVOO and then rubbed with NePas's Adobo rub. (man... I love that stuff NePas, I modified it slightly) 2hours of apple/pecan, another hour in BS then onto the grill.

Mmmmmm

Mike

PS
Ontrack... Bryan (BeGolf25) has by far the best deal on them.  ;)

Hey NePa,
I would suggest adding the brown sugar to the jerky marinade.  The JD for the drinks don't need it for a sweet taste.  ;D

I sent him a box with his normal 15lbs and some other goodies and he hasnt got it yet, been 1.5 months now. when i get the chance to talk with him i tell him even though i vac'ed and sprayed the jerky dont eat it, been to long now.

Someone prob got his goodies by now  :-\

Anyways since the weather is getting colder for us easterners maybe we should wait till mid spring perhaps? I dont mind cold but i gotta think about others who might not like it.
