Need ideas on other uses for the bradley smoker other than smoking meat
Anyone one ever made bread or muffins minus the smoke?
The Bradley is essentially and low temp oven with smoking ability. Anything that can be cooked in a regular oven at lower temps can be done in the Bradley. Many folks do seafood, veggies, nuts, etc.
I've smoked nuts...squash...potatos...onions...garlic...crabs...scallops...but as Cat said...it can be used as a regular "oven" as well...haven't had the need to do that....but...it can be done!!
Never forget CHEESE....mmmm, CHEESE ;)
Oh...just rub it in DuckMan...man...too hot even for icebags...:(
LQ,
I gotta drink with you sometime....I'll bet you're a hoot! ;D
Till then, I'm drinking in close proximity because I have cataracts and can't see distances too well. ;D
Then those freakin ducks are...wait a minute...is that why you shoot them out of a "duck blind"? :)
To be honest, the more I drink, the worse I see. Which would explain my marriage. I drank till she was cute ;D
Dangit, she's still behind me ! :o
She is my kinda gal!!! We gotta watch you guys 24/7...never know what you boys will do when "un-supervised"!!! :)

You forgot the green olives. 8)
No way Giz...I'm still floored by that!!
As wild cat has stated, any thing that can be roasted at a low temperature can be cooked in the Bradley. Even if you don't apply smoke, you will get a slight smoke flavor. If you want to avoid and residual smoke flavoring your food, you need to tightly seal it in foil.
