Having Venison Brats for supper and was making a batch of this sauce. Thought I would Share.
Yellow Sauce For Sausage Or Brisket
1 1/2 cups cheap yellow prepared mustard; (NOT Dijon)
1 1/2 cups red wine vinegar
3/4 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons margarine
4 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper; (coarse)
1 1/2 tablespoons Franks Louisiana hot sauce; (or similar)
Simmer for 30 minutes on low heat, whisking while heating
This sounds pretty good 10.5!
I'll have to add it to my list of things to try. ;)
Mike

I tried your Yellow Sauce the other weekend when I was doing a few butts for a family get together and everybody loved it. I have since tried it on a number of things including drizzling it over bacon wrapped chicken breasts and it is fantastic! ;)
Thanks for sharing! 8)

She and the daughter were both at work and didnt get off till 10:00 P.M. and I made it at 5:30. Gave me time to get the smell of vinegar out of the house, well almost. She still turned up her nose as soon as she walked in the house. I said you should have smelled it at 6:00. Smells good to me.

I did it while she was at work! ::)
It went something like... What's that smell? Ahhh... I made a new sauce for you dear. ::) ::) ::)
I think next time I would do it on the side burner on my gas grill outside. Although that would take all the fun out of it. ;)
It's worth the effort though...
Mike
yet another thing added to my must do list, it keeps getting longer. :)
