Anyone out there ever tried making party mix in the BS?? If so i would like the recipe.

When you do this, I suggest that you line one self with a double layer of cheese cloth, put that on the top rack. This will catch any moisture build up that can collect on the cabinet ceiling, and prevent it from dripping back down on the party mix.

I do this when I am smoking salt. If I don't I get clumps of salt, where the moisture has dripped down.

I would suggest only to smoke the nuts and then prepare in a traditional fashion. IMO, breads & the like soak up too much smoke flavor fast & can taste sooty.

I do like the idea though, please let us know how it turned out should you decide to be the sacrificial lamb.
