Tried Kummok's recipe a while back, and boy is it good!! Thanks Kummok!!  Did about 28 Pink salmon fillets.  Just figured out how to do pictures, so thought I would share my success!!  I cannot say enough good about this recipe and his instructions, easy and amazing flavour.  I can't keep my supply up...they're too popular.

It is so nice to have you guys as a resource for tips, hints, help.  It has made my smoking a whole lot more successful and flavourful.

I think your racks are upside down - guess the fish don't care cause they came out looking good.

Way to turn Pinks into Nervana, HuntinFool!!   Your post demonstrates at least two really cool things....
1. You've got the smoked salmon thing down pat!
2. Ain't NOTHIN' wrong with "stinkin' Pinks" !!

Note to KevinG: Nothing wrong with the rack position....these fish were just hooked up while they were swimming upside down so they have to go on the bottom of the racks...happens all the time! ;) :D

I just took my last little chunk of salmon out of the freezer and it's half gone already.  Wish I had access to some fish like that to fill the OBS back up but I'll have to settle on some store bought fillets.

Just did a load of those, too.  Should last for a couple months!  Man, this snow is getting old!

Snow's our friend for keeping these things fresh. This is my friend, Tim, with his recent white King catch here in the Bay...definitely a keeper!
