I'm planning on doing some shrimp this weekend in the smoker. I'm going to use the vegetable basket I have for my grill. If I were to throw some little redskin new potatos and some of those small 3 inch ears of corn in the basket at the same time do you think they we be done at the same time as the shrimp? Kind of a smoked version of a shrimp boil.

Smok'em if you got'em

Just a guess, and I'm assuming you will be smoking the shrimp at about 200F for 30 min . . . the corn should be done but the potatoes might not.  However, just a couple of minutes in the MW and the taters should be fine.  Nice thing is that it's easy to check how far along the veggies are when the shrimp are done and finish them off if necessary in just a couple minutes.  Of course, some of us have had the smoked shrimp disappear in that short space of time! [:D]  Let us know how it turns out . . .
