Thanks for the tip on the Tiparos, I have seen it in the Asian markets here, but did not know much about it. The smidgen of anchovy paste is also very helpfull.

When last we saw our hero, he was shuffling busily between the smoker and the kitchen with all manner of meats. There was lots of stuff and there were ribs for a Monday party. Okay, it's Monday and we broke out the RED to grill a few chicken thighs and finish Friday's ribs.

Also did a few ears of corn and some asparagus (for a dieting couple who brought their own food).

It all plated pretty well with some Cesar salad and two kinds of potato salad.

Ok just got to work and now starting the day starving after these pics. Would have been a great weekend to stay at uncle Ka Honu's place.
