Just picked up my first Bradley smoker. I have seasoned it and am ready to try some salmon. If I use frozen fish (or any frozen meat for that matter) can it be safely re-frozen after smoking for long term storage.
Thanks from a newbie,

Welcome WhiskyB,

I do that with chickens and pork butt. There should be no problem refreezing. You might want to try vacumn bagging your food.

Yes
Once you have thawed meat and have processed it wether you cure it or cook it you can refreeze it.  I agree with car54 in that you should vacuum seal it.

Welcome WhiskyB,

Yeah, I agree and I too use a vacuum sealer.

If you do a search I think there have been previous comments about refreezing on the forum in the past, pretty sure they came to the same conclusion.

Enjoy your BS, they are great.
