If they would re-name the 'nutria rat' here in Louisian they would be extinct! They are delish, it's the name that gets in peoples head. ;D

Isn't Nutria kinda like a beaver rodent? They live in the swamps...they don't eat stuff like rats right?

No but a lot of Humans eat them. A lot like a muskrat which are very good eating too!

I have never tried stuff like that...but I would....I ate stuff in South America that was certainly not anything I ever had...was good tho...never got sick or anything...I think eating is an adventure...my Mom used to give us stuff as kids and we were ordering snails by the time we were 5 and 6...never been afraid of what food is...

Bugs kinda creep me out...but I'd try  ???
