So are you an inch short now without the disc. LOL Glad to hear you are on the mend. I know all to well what sciatic pain is all about. I suffer from it alot. Probably not as bad as you were as I wouldn't think I am bad enough for surgery. Get back on your feet kirby. good luck.

I am actually a little taller as the disk had ruptured in three places and was like a flat tire. They get that lost space back with a plastic spacer. This is what they put in my back.

they also added two plates from the posterior entry.

Wow TMI. I think you can sue for that. LOL Well it is good now you can walk tall again.

I started back on my blood thinners as scheduled but this morning found all the wounds started bleeding again. So back off of the blood thinners and give things some more time to seal up. The pain is getting better though. Thanks for all your support. At least I have my friends to communicate with.
