I finally had my back surgery last Tuesday but didn't get out of the Hospital until Friday night. My disk has been removed so no more sciatica. It is going to take about three months to heal and get things working well again. I have my walker and getting lots of short walks around the house. For now on some rather strong pain killers which I am taking sparingly. I will have to be out of the shop for a month or two. I did make three mixers that are ready to ship and did get a couple of stuffers close to ready also. It is good to be on the mend even with the pain.

I am actually a little taller as the disk had ruptured in three places and was like a flat tire. They get that lost space back with a plastic spacer. This is what they put in my back.

they also added two plates from my back.

Glad the surgery went well. All the best Kirby.

That's excellent news Kirby!

I know all too well about that. I had my L4/L5 disk removed in the mid 80's. Definitely not a lot of fun but once I recovered I've been pretty good for years. You just want to carefull and not over do it.

Hope you have a smooth, speedy recovery.

Thanks for the well wishes. Mike I have S1-L5-L4 and now L3-L2N I am going to be just one stiff dude. The local SWAT team could use me as a battering ram.
