Try and get someone to help you. It takes one person to feed the ground meat into the grinder and one person to fill the casings and run the power switch. I guarantee you if you try it alone it will probably be the last time your grinder stuffs casings one manned.

HAHAHAHAHA that's what my father in law has told me as well. HE said you're doing sausage, make sure im there or i will be out a stuffer and the beer will be gone in the fridge
"Telling you to invest in smoking your own jerky because buying it so much was getting way too expensive was the worst thing I could have ever done to us, now look at the monster I have created!" :-)

Like others said, yes it can be done.  And 2 people make it easier.
Back in my early sausage days, I used a grinder attachment on a KitchenAid mixer.  I stuffed a couple batches with it.
Then I stopped in Cabelas one day.  Commercial stuffers on sale.  11 lb model went home with me.  Later I added the motor.
Good luck using the grinder.
But if your budget allows, I suggest adding a stuffer sometime in the future.

Just gave Santa my XMAS list.  A 5lb stuffer is on it.  Keeping my fingers crossed...
