Ok not a fan of store bought rubs wondering what others are using for home made rubs like to get some recipes got one I got out of a book I really like but looking for a few others to try looking for a sweeter rub and a savory rub maybe another spicy rub

True statement. That stuff would make an old gym shoe taste good. We actually added it to the breading for fried chicken the other night.......YUM.

I have tried 4 or 5 mail order rubs and I can tell you Jans is just as good if not better.
The only one that I ordered that I really liked was Big Rons Rub. Big Ron's Original Rub is pretty close to Jans rub.
