I use the 12 pd. vertical crank stuffer from cabelas. works great for everything I do.
From 3pd. summer sausage to snack sticks.

Bought a 5 # hand crank vertical stuffer from Grizzly. Sure is better then stuffing straight from the Kitchen Aid like I had been doing. The only suggestion I will make is that if you typically make 5# batches, spring for the 10# unit. My 5# batches also seem to take two loads to stuff it all. LOL........ Perhaps I should satrt making 4 # batches.

Santa just brought me a grinder. It came from Biro out of Detroit. It is a 3/4 hp, #12 all stainless unit and is heavy as hell, ( 68 #). Made 30 # sausage and it works like a dream. I stuffed with the Grizzly because time was of the essense. Next time, I will try to stuff directly from the grinder to see which method works best.
