Bubba Pucks

If you have wooden bubba pucks, they will sit on the burner and smolder. The idea of bubba pucks is to push off the last burning wood and not smoke anymore.

I said you could cut a wooden one for the third puck which doesn't make it to the burner. Then you don't have to buy a third Bubba and you don't have to use a bisquette that might react to the humidity

Well yes and no. Yes it does not get pushed on the burner. No it will still smoke after a period of time.

If you open you unit up at just the correct time you will see that the push puck is burning on the leading edge.

OK, I've gotten rid of all of it. I know you both feel very strongly about your positions, but it really should be a private conversation.

John, please understand that you're the new guy, and Olds responded to what he percieved as a threat to a fellow long-standing member. I just happened to be that "lucky" member, there are a whole lot of other people on this board that he would defend just as well.

I will be sending you an email with a few questions that I'd LOVE to ask you in front of everbody, but in light of the previous results, will keep it private. I hope you will respond.

Just to clear the air with everybody, here is the shipping situation we have:

In order to accept payment from PayPal online, we have to set very general guidelines for shipping cost within our shopping cart based on weight. We try and average these weights to reflect a thousand different varieties of orders. Yes, if you order only Bubba Pucks, we make money. But depending where in the country you are, if you order 2-120's, a rack set, Bubba Pucks, replacement bulb and a cover, we generally lose money. Shipping is certainly not a profit center for us & unfortunately, we cannot get it perfect for every order.

If anyone in the past had objections to the shipping charges online, they have simply called us, payed by credit card & were charged the actual amount.

I was not going to reply to this thread again, but seeing how the postings have been deleted I must.

Chez you are correct. I would lookout for any member who has contributed to this community. Especially those who have given so much of their time in real help to the new persons. I will go after those who can only make themselves feel good by sticking it to others.

No matter if it is nxsbill and his Raptor (which I'm thinking about getting, but don't tell him or he will be in my face about it~~ LOL) or Smokehouse Rob and his pointed opinions--we are one group. I will defend at the cost of my membership those of this family that fall within this range of our members. Noobs come and Noobs go. We will still be here long after the membership stops talking to them. Long after they are gone on to a new posting community.

Plus if you look at the new problem with Skyway on the off topic board this is really a small issue of deleted postings for me. If I don't solve this problem I might just lose him. He might just give up. Yesterday he was in the toilet as he was afraid to leave his bed.... Damn this is a real life problem.
