Hey All!

Wife and son are away for the rest of the week. Decided to make some BBQ
Flavor Jerky. I'll actually get to eat some of this if the wife/son are gone.  ;D

10lbs done in Halford BBQ Flavor Jerky mix.

YES I have Frogmats on order! lol

Hitting it with 4 hours of Maple/Hickory mix. Nom nom!

P.S. I trim excess fat when it's done.

Looks good lumpy.

Have you put four hours of smoke on jerky before? I did an hour and change and it was plenty.

I've played around with it before. I like it a bit smokier than the wife. Since she's away I get to play!. lol

Was going to ask the same smoke time question...sounds like the boss is away so do what you want!!! Looks great sliced in big layers/sheets like that. The retail stuff in the sheets like yours always catches my eye. Don't have a meat cutter though so mine has always been strips.

Looks mighty good Lumpy

The meat slicer and vacuum sealer have been great investments. Slicer works great to keep
the meat consistently sliced.
