Brainstorm or Ridiculously Stupid Idea?

Using your dryer vent :o ???.  Common sense say's no unless you love the smell of smoke on your clothes. ???

It is not the smoke smell on the clothes that would concern me (I love the smell of smoke).  What concerns me is that you have lint in the duct work.  You add smoke from the smoker and you are adding lots of interesting stuff that can contribute to a fire.  You are getting fat particles that have evaporated in the smoking process plus the by products of the smoke.  I don't see a problem with venting from the basement as long as you use a dedicated vent hose and make sure you have a fan that will draw the smoke and eject it to the outside.  I bet after a few uses and when it is cold outside you will see a grease build up on the vent outside.  Keep the vent and hose clean and you should be good to go.


Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.
