First try at Buck Board Bacon MW's style

Just pulled some bacon out of the smoker this weekend. I did the BBB cure then the maple rub like MW tried. I'll try it in a few days after it mellows a bit. I'll keep you all posted. Pics are clickable but backwards. The aroma was sinfull and I almost broke down and tried it right away. :D ;D
Well here it is guys. The finished bacon. It was very good. I think I'm going to try to get more maple flavor nextime though.
MW, got any ideas for me?












Just out of the smoker           
After rubbing on the maple syrup   
Just out of a 14 day cure in the fridge   
Rubbed with the cure then vac sealed

That's a pretty good idea to vacum seal your product.  I'll have to try that next time
