Smokin' in the wind

WhiteSmoke

My first smoke is on now, and it's a tad windy out.  Not a hurricane or anything, but the smoke leaves the box and is spending more time going sideways than up.

So my question,

Normally I would smoke with the draft at 3/4 to full open to make sure that I don't get moisture build up in the cabinet.  But in light of the cross breeze causing some low pressure and sucking smoke out of the DB4 should I close the vent a bit say to 1/2 to help counterbalance the wind draw effect?

Get an old coffe can or something similar and cut both ends out and put it on top of the vent opening. It should help deflect the wind.

OK.  Used a Flower Pot upside down with 4 holes in it about the same surface area of opening as the normally 3/4 open draft.

Thanks!

Grrr....

Would have helped if the bisquette feeder didn't jam!!!

So THAT's why I don't have any smoke!!  :'( :-* :-\

Tres annoying...

Edit:
Now the smoke is coming out of the pot nice and thick and even.  Thanks again.  Sometimes the simplest bit of help makes the greatest difference.
