I'm thinking about getting a 4 rack digital smoker and was wondering if it would last if I stored it out doors?  With a cover on it of coruse and I live in San Diego,CA (No snow and the temps stays year around 50 to 80 degs).

You will be fine with a cover and have it outdoors. I and allot of members have ours out.

You think you have weather issues...........try a Canadian winter.
Alot of us store and smoke outside when its below "freeze your butt off" outside.

Howdy neighbor,
I am in Escondido.  I leave my digital out outside all year around.  It mostly gets covered but I do have a tendency to forget.  Always gets the cover when it rains.   :)  Been running without a problem for 3 years now.

I leave the digital cabinet outside, covered, all year - no probs.  I bring the smoke generator into the garage for safe keeping!
