Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

I dont have one but i have used one b4 at PT when i messed up my lower lumbar and it really works. Once you really relax you can feel your back start to pop and in no time your back will feel great. It is kinda like being in traction.

Make sure someone is home when you do it though i've herd of someone passing out due to all the blood rushing to there head.

I agree 100% with this statement Raye. Stay that way long enough and it will kill you.

Olds,

now I know what it is. I have tried it a few times but I have to agree with OU812 and Wildcat it has to be done with some one around. I have always done it under supervision from my massage therapist. It really makes you feel good and your back feels that some one hastaken it apart and re - reassembled it back together (in a better way) again.

i had one of these and got rid of it.
had some work done on L4 and 5, and found out that if you take
a little time to do some ab work(sweat) and yoga(double sweat) you gain much more than a
stretched back!

Mike,

this is one of what is called acquired tastes; just like scotch. You would never like scotch the first time around and you have to force yourself into the third or forth before you do.
