Just wondering if anyone out there names their smoker and how they decide that name. I know this is a kinda weird question. But you do have a name for yours, be it male or female for your smoker. Express it. Help me name my smoker and advise me when is the appreciate time to cherish my Bradley with a name of its own.

Gotta be female.  You put your meat in, it gets hot, and your meat gets tender.

Think I'll name mine Puffy. :-)

Actually...as a "unit", it's both.  The smoke generator is male due to its heating tray protuberance and the box (sic) is female.
If the "male" does his job correctly and really heats things up, the "female' has smoke coming out of the top of her head.   ::) ::) ::)
If the "unit" performs its main function, then you have a gift from the "British Columbian Gods" in the "female."  Which we, the "Carnivores" EAT and brag to all who can stand to hear the story ONE MORE TIME!!!   :o :o :o

Ray.............watch it ladies.......I'm single................and I know how to smoke........ ;D ;D ;D
If you can't smoke it.....you don't need it!!!

And when I loaded all of the grody butt burned racks in the dishwasher for a 'rinse', and forgot to actually add soap and wash the residue afterwards...

Here's a few female names for you.....

GABIJA: Lithuanian name possibly related to proto-Mongolian *gabi-, meaning "careful, diligent, skilled." In mythology, this is the name of a goddess of fire."

ADENA: Feminine form of English Aden, meaning "fire."

NINA: Native American Quechua name meaning "fire."

VESTA: Latin form of Greek Hestia, meaning "altar, hearth, fireside." In Roman mythology, this is the name of a goddess of the hearth.

It amazes me that I have reached a state of maturity (or possibly inebriation) that allows me to decline joining this conversation, thus avoiding the almost certain wrath and disgust of the ladies of the forum.  They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but if you're lucky, every so often he will forgo humping your leg.
