Pachanga, knowing you might be the only one on the forum who would know what I'm talking about, I hope you've been able to wet a line after these noble and tasty fish!  Great time to be out sight fishing for gators particularly after a cold snap.   Knowing it's Christmas, remembering my recent trip with my Dad, and remembering how much he loves to fish for "specs", decided to paint him one using the technique and bait he likes best as a Christmas gift.

Well done Caney!! I am sure your Dad will Love it!! Not just because you painted it for him but for the memories it will bring back.

Hi!
I thought I'd share a pic I took off my deck last week.  It's not too often I get elk and turkeys in the same frame.  :D

Wow! That is cool.

Caneyscud,

I just caught this thread.

Bud, you are talented.  You caught the essence of an angry speck taking it out on a devilish shrimp.

I love it.  You need to get some gallery time.

Good luck and great artistry,

Pachanga

Wyogoob,

Thanks for sharing,

This is a little 5 point I got the first weekend of November:

Missed a tall and wide 12 pt a few weeks ago.  Oh well, hopefully he'll be around next year.

And this is one of many wild hogs we got the night before:

I never did put it on a scale as we process our own animals. I would hazard a guess at about 600 to 725 Lbs.

Holy C&$^&*, what type of crane did you use to get that thing off the ground?
