FLBR,
I was wondering the same thing.  Hope all is going well with his family and him.

He moved to Mich. and said things are starting to look better, not sure if that means he's got job possibilities or not. He did say he was going to stop in here soon to catch up with everyone. I'll let him know you were asking about him.

You guys must be awfully bored if you miss me  :P

Pens is correct.  I'm now a resident of Holland, MI.  The sheriff sold my house on August 26th, so it became imperative to find new housing and while I seriously considered living in a van down by the river, my wife was dead set against that.  ;)

The bad news:  I lost the house, busted my giblets moving everything out of said house and because we couldn't afford the high deposit they required for pets in our condo, I had to get rid of our cats (well, that wasn't THAT bad  ;D) and my precious Steeler  :'(

The good news is we are in a condo that is really nice, our kids start at a new school after labor day, my wife got a job up here with a $6000/yr raise and I started my first day of work at a factory.  It's not a great job as it only pays $8/hr and it's boring as hell and I truly believe they would teach a monkey to do the job but a monkey wouldn't accept $8/hr  ;D  However, $8/hr is way better than $0/hr so it'll do for now until I can find something that would challenge me a bit more than this.

I do hope to be on much more regularly these days now that life has somewhat settled and to be frank, I just didn't want to bring the forum down with my sad lot in life.  You guys are always #1 in my eyes and didn't want anyone to be bummed out because of my troubles.  Hopefully, this will be the start on the road to recovery for me and my family!  Thanks for all the kind thoughts and messages!

Steeler....she's a keeper!

At least you didn't loose your sense of humor!  ;D

I was out last weekend and we got 32 "eyes". Mostly in the 2 to 3 lb range but we did get about a half dozen in the 5 to 6 lb range. We are just heading into the time of year that you start to get some of the biggins...

Its amazing what one can accomplish when one doesn't know what one can't do!

Thanks all.....the move was only about 110 miles north.  Not far and it puts us about 10 minutes from my wife's Grandmother, which makes her very happy!
