Puck advancement mechanisam again has let us down

Set up Bradlet this morning to smoke some garlic and Scotch Bonnet that husband has just bought back from the market this morning forn the food shows over the weekend and the unit has let me down again. Although thisd time it is not the motor issue the pucks at the alloted time do not auto feed anly if the manual button is pressed  :'(. We as a small preserve company use the smoker about once per week wheich I beleve is not excessive and yet again the smoke generator has let me down.

I have read a number of post on the forum regarding possible remidies to this situation but I do find that the smoke generator is not as reliable as I would like. John at Grakka has always been a great help like Bradley themselves sooooooo is it possible to have a replacement generator sent to me as soon as possible Mr Bradley please

Hi Lin

Unfortunately you will have to go through our UK distributors for warranty on your generator.

Have you tried opening the generator and giving it a good cleaning inside?

Did try to contact John today without sucess will try tomorrow again, but time is running out for this weekends food shows we are doing and I dont think their will be time to get a replacement to me. If John reads this could he call our mobile number which he has tomorrow please

I phoned and left a message with John to call me with some urgency, unfortunatly not responce. This I have to say is not the norm pehaps he is on holiday, but have to say lost out on sales over the weekend  NOT SMOKED GARLIC TO SELL  :'(

Has Bradley any way to contact UK distributor or arrange for another unit to be sent and I feel that another show this weekend will be without SMOKED GARLIC AGAIN and I hate to try to tell our regular customers why we do not have any  Smoked Garlic. Can anybody in the US help please

This is what we always do to clear and wood chips that has accumalated around the advance mechanisam. Paul has also checked that the motor is working in the correct sync as many posts on this forum has suggested. It appears to him that the issue is with the timer that is not sending the instruction to the motor to advance the puck.

What are the chances of a replacement generator being sent from the UK agent for the weekend ??? as we will be exibiting at the major UK Food Show this weekend at Ludlow for 3 days and next week at Abergavenny in Wales for 2 days and do not want to miss out on major loss of sales of garlic products.

I am truly sorry to hear about your problems but equally confident that since Brian has got a hold of it, the solution is on its way. Hope that it comes soon.

This may not be the right time and place to ask you this, but I only got a recipe for smoked garlic off you tube. Its not bad but not great. Since I live in Jordan and dont think I would pause a competition threat, I was wondering if you could give me a couple of pointers.

Is it not possible to cannibalise a part off the previous generator that you had replaced as I seem to remember that was a motor issue, perhaps the relevant parts of this would get you up and running in the short term.

Given you business depends on this item perhaps it is worth investing in a spare generator, I think Grakka sell them for £52.

If you used them alternately and it broke down you could get it exchanged under warranty but still have one on site to keep you going.

Just a thought?  :)

Dont realy want to post this but after 3 weeks we still have had no replt for John at Grekka regarding our problem. This I have to say has not always been the case and service from Bradley has always been exceptional, but in this case have to say I am disapointed.

To keep our supply of Garlic going we are manually advancing the pucks, not rely what we want, but we have to keep going. Can John call me on the mobile number please with a possible solution asap
