Unless I missed the thread I'm posting about the loss of Patrick Swayze. Last night I watched his 1989 "Road House" vid.

IMO he was one great actor / dancer.  He passed from pancreatic cancer.

Thanks for letting me know. I missed the news.

He was one of my favorites too. From Ghost to Kin Folks he was great. He will be sorrily missed. My God have blessings on his soul.

He was filming here on our island in 2005 in a black British comedy called "Keeping Mum", although a low budget film it received very good reviews and Patrick Swayze himself caused a major stir amongst the local ladies!!

Sad news.

I saw the news right after he passed. He WAS a good actor. Really loved Roadhouse.

He (patrick) being from Houston (my area) it was big news here.
I liked what he did. Just hope there was peace in his heart and God in his soul.
