For those of you who put your jerky in a dehydrator:

What times / temps do you use?

Last time I had somewhere to go so I was not going to be there when it was done, so I extended the time and dropped the temp.

Instead of 145F for 4-5 hours I did 100F for about 8 hours.

Thoughts ?

I have an elcheepo timer that I use on the dehydrator to shut it off when the time runs out. That way I can keep the time and temp the same

I do jerky in my wood fired box smoker, but am going to try it soon in the bradley.  Probably use the dehydrator with in conjunction with the OBS (I really need to get a better dehydrator).
