Hi, my name is Rose and I am originally from Scotland and now live in Virignia. We raise all our own meat including pork and to be able to smoke it, I bought my husband a bradley smoker last year.

This is the second year we are using it and I am looking forward to frying up some home smoked bacon for my family again.

I have posted a question about doing that!

Glad I found this site. I plan on going to look at the recipes now.

Oh sorry was I skipping again.LOL

ROFL......funny farm I can do. We live on one I think. The only sane critters about here are the sheep, goats pigs and chickens. The humans are the ones in question.

Thanks for the welcome, right now I am reading a lot!

Welcome to the forum Rose, I really am interested in how things are done in different countries. Is the popular bacon in Scotland similar to what we have here. Is the Canadian Bacon we do here a "Peameal Bacon" like they do in UK and Canada?
