Up In Smoke

i tossed some venison jerky into the cabelas 80L this evening, a light load 2 1/2 pounds
noticed about a 10 degree temp swing. i haven't used it for a while and i am not sure it did it before.
preheated for 30 Min's before putting meat in. temp was set at 140 but drops to 130 then back up.
been running for about 3 1/2 hours.

sorry i have been kinda quiet......been having a dreadful battle with depression.

Some people are like Slinkies... They're really good for nothing.
...But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

I noticed that the heat does tend to cycle on and off.

Sorry to hear that. Let us know if there is anything we can do, or if you just need to vent....
