Posting pictures isn't difficult but having problems with putting an avatar in.   Done it on other forums but it doesn't want to work here.    I must be missing something.

that is a question for CRG. He changes his avatars faster than a NY minute.  ;D But he is on dear camp now but I am sure some one else will chime in soon with help.

I am not as "think" as you "drunk" I am.

The file needs to be under a certain size or it will not work. I had to futz with mine a while to make it work.

RAF128,
Try "I will upload my own picture:" from this screen:

Most problems with uploading an avatar is as what FLB stated, so you have to experiment until you get the size you like. So try reducing your picture size. Mine is 52 x 65 pixels. You can get larger then that if necessary.

I tried my lower cat as is. (423 x 256) And it worked just fine.

I don't know what the top end is. Only the forum administrator knows what the limits are.

I do get the idea that 1000 x 1000 is the limit. (Nice round number.)

I do know that images that are 2048 wide are too big.

Of coarse displayed is a max of 65 tall.

If you need a picture resizer The Gimp is overkill. But it's functionally free.
