Friday Nite's "All You Can Eat Buffet"..... at the Deer Camp

Friday nite before season starts is our kick-off to Hunting season.

Starts with fryed catfish (some in cornmeal, some in rice flour....yummm)



The same amount of food is on both sides of Table to make the line go faster.
The catfish:





Beer Battered onion rings and jalapeno's with cream cheese.
Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits



Home made french fries, cheese sticks, hushpuppies, and frog legs!

Just two....they are from out of town.
They brought 5 cases of beer on Friday and somebody had to give them a beer on sunday afternoon.

That looks like a good time was had by all. 5 cases for 2 guys in a weekend sounds about right to me. 

I saw a shooter out my bedroom window, about 120 yards away, this sun. He gave me a good broadside for at least 5 min. All I could do is look at him through the glasses and count the points and determine the length of his rack. He is a 10 point with at least 10" g2, the spread was around 20" and the base was the diameter of his ear, just using the size of his head to get the size of his rack.  My gun was only 6' away but high power dont open till the 14th. Hope he pops up this weekend. The rut is defiantly on here also.
