Hey all - I'm in the market for a slicer and I found this price for Black Friday at Bass Pro Shops.  It's the LEM MEAT SLICER WITH 7 1/2" BLADE
Item#: 832.  It has a cast steel base with aluminum die-cast housing. 130 watt motor deli-thin up to .6" thick. Stainless steel 7-1/2" blade spins at 110 RPM. Large 7-1/2" x 6-1/2 carriage tray. Detachable hand guard/ meat pusher. Unit comes with rubber feet. 15"L x 10"W x 10"H. 110V. 1 year warranty. UL approved.

Price $69.94

Thought I'd pass this along.  I'd LOVE to get this, but the closest BPS to me is more than 2 hours!!!  Can't really justify that...  If anyone is going to BPS on Black Friday and picks one of these up, I'll gladly pay for it and shipping! :)

I have a problem with vertical slicers. It is for the reason of finger-care that you never see them in a business.

Totally understand the vertical vs. angled.  My problem is the $$ associated with the angled...  I'm still looking for a better deal.  I'll let you know when I find one.
