Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends from up here in the great white north.
May all your turkeys be smoked and potatoes mashed
May all your beers be Canadian imports,  ;D  don't really understand how you guys can drink that stuff they sell down there

For once us Cannucks are ahead of you guys as ours is already over !
Long time to wait for another stat holiday though.

Have a great day and enjoy !
All I wanted to do was slow smoke some ribs.  Another addiction created thanks to the Bradley that requires regular servicing...  But what an addiction to have.  Even better to share here with some of the best people on the planet.

Would you like smoke with that sir ?

Some people are like Slinkies... They're really good for nothing.
...But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Well, it wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be.  Guess I've spent this day away from Dad enough times that this time it really wasn't different, even though I didn't go to another relative or friend's place.

Hope you all had a great holiday as well.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and Thank You for all the well wishes. I did not do much, picked dad up and took him to my sisters for dinner. But it was nice to see everyone and get together for a while. Tomorrow I got a bunch of cheese to get smoked.

They were full from the cans of Friskies that I gave them as I was putting the bird in the oven.  As for me (not that you asked :P ), I thought the white meat was a teeny bit dry, but the gravy that I heated up took care of that.  Gotta finish strippin' the carcass yet, but have a 2 qt casserole overflowing so far with most of it off.
