I have a question regarding the biscuits, When I smoke there is always a half a biscuit left, I had a stainless steel puck made that is the same size as the biscuits but it does not push it out on the element far enough I guess maybe I will have to have another stainless steel puck to fix the problem, maybe someone out there has the solution,[:(]
Thanks Harpo

WOW!! The "Bubba Puck 5000"....I could buy a BIGGER BOAT with 2 DECKHANDS selling those[:D][:p][;)][:D] You're on the right track thinking about making more, Harpo....make two more for a total of three and you'll cross the finish line way ahead of the rest of us....BTW, is that surgical grade SS, polished?!?!?[:D][;)][:D]

BTW, watch the advancing process pretty close for a while to make sure they advance properly...3 SS pucks weigh considerably more than the bisquettes.....[8D]

35 years of extinguishing smoking stuff and now I'm wondering WHY!

So not to allow Kummok to appear biased, and make the plans for a bigger boat go away,  the Bubba puck are made out of aluminum, and close to the weight of an actual puck.

That email is good for one free fishing trip on the Bigger Boat!![:D][8D]

Harpo......you're treading on thin ice [;)][:D][;)][:D]      Juuuuuust kidding[}:)]....of course you can go fishing with me too....On the SMALL boat[;)][:D]  As far as where to get the aluminum, I'd tell you where I get mine, but then I'd have to kill ya[xx(][;)][:D]

Seriously though, my suggestion for a GREAT source of the aluminum you need is ChezBubba.com!! (BIGGER BOAT[:p], BIGGER BOAT[:p]) [;)][:D][;)] (So much for the appearance of being unbiased[}:)][;)][:D])

(I don't know you yet, but I SURE do hope you have a good sense of humor, Harpo!![;)][:D])

You will need 3 of the metal pucks either homemade or from bubba. That will make it all work right with out supervision and without wasting bisq's. 3 metal pucks will fix you up for sure! OR you can use only 2 metal pucks and 1 more wood puck on the top of the 2 metal will do the trick also.

Whew![:)] I have been "mixing it up" with firefighters and cops since 1968, so I've gotta be at least cognizant of just HOW I express my humor sometimes......Not ALL people see the humor in T-shirts with "Arson Feeds My Family" on the front when they're NOT at an arson investigators' conference[;)][:D][8D]

Fishing around these parts (Homer, AK) usually takes place at "Pogie Pt.", "Flat", "The Bluffs", "Haystack", "The BBQ Pit", "Double Nickles"....and other locally coined phrase locations.....those without boats fish "The Spit Pit". I've got some fishing pics posted on other threads on this forum if you click on the little gold "kummok" and look at my posts since around
Jan 1st (in your spare time[;)]), or visit our new and yet unfinished website at www.captainscabinalaska.com.  Come on up....I'm expecting to put the boat back in the water this week after a looong winter....the King salmon bite is ON and I can't take just
watching it unfold everyday from my front window on Kachemak Bay[:p][:p][:D][8D] Once the boat goes in the water, I'm pretty much a ghost on this forum until around next Nov/ Dec, when it comes back out again....usually a very sad day[:(]
