Just a curiosity question? How many people print off the Newsletter for quick reference in a binder or whatever. I have been asked to remove the gold tone background from the newsletter to facilitate faster printing and less ink consumption. Since this is EVERYONES newsletter not my newsletter. I thought I would pose the question. Background or No? Just to give everyone a heads up the May issue will not have the background it will be plain.

My personal thoughts with the background was to make it easier on the eyes when reading, everything isn't as bright and stressful on my eyes. Since I read the thing about 20 times before I send it out and I still miss the little things. Lucky for me I have Habs to cover my butt and tell me when I goof up.

Background works for me.

For me it's easier to save on my computer. And it doesn't get lost.

Plus the recipe site has it to. Trying to be eco friendly and save the paper!

Works for me either way, I'm not picky.

I don't print...I save each to my desktop.  Whatever you want to do is fine, although I would prefer you didn't go with white text on a black background...my eyes don't like the next thing I look at after that setup. ;D

The May issue is out to my Proof reader's. As soon as I get the It looks OK from them I will send it out. I did give the white background a try for this issue. You guys will have to let me know what you think of it or does it matter? I should be mailing out the May issue tonight or tomorrow morning.

The "paper" doesn't come from old growth forests.  It comes from tree farmers, who are remarkably good stewards of an amazing renewable resource, and they have kids to feed --- and I hope they eat well...  Because, I'm sooooooooooo eco-friendly I even have concern for humans...
