Did up some smoked chuck rolled up in some jumbo crescents a wile back and 10.5 suggested trying some with cheese in them, so here they are.
Smoked chuck with grated smoked colby jack.

Ready to roll.

Out of the oven

Mmmmmmmmmmmm Gooood.

1 lb chuck 1/4 lb cheese made 6 jumbo crescents, I could only eat two.

Looks good OU. Did you have any dippin sauce? Bet a hot mustard dab would go great.

That does sound good or maybe some of that horseradish mustard, I did put in some Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce when I mixed in the cheese.

One leftover and I'm having it right now for breakfest along with some of these, jalapeno, home made little smokies, cream cheese wrapped in a crescent.

Breakfest of champions.  ;D

Looks great OU, that,s a new one for the must try list. It would make a great appatizer for the hollidays. ;D

They still look good. So what is the consensus on the addition of cheese in there?

Those crescent poppers are good hot or cold.

Definitely made them better, maybe a little more next time. The JD sauce was right on though, just enough you know its there but not enough to over power the taste of the chuck.

Hmmm... Got some rib roast bits & pieces, some smoked cheese, and some jalapenos in the fridge.  Got to take something to a small get together at a friend's on Friday evening.  I can see where this is going.

OBTW, did I say that this looks like a great dish?  If not, it does.

THATS IT! Thats what the Chuckie Cheeseies are missing, some chopped up jalapenos.

Thanks Ka Honu, I will be adding some in next time.
